Grant & Funding partnerships team

Grant & Funding prepares Scientific Research and Experimental Development (SR&ED) claims and government funding applications for Ontario businesses. We work with the client's accountant, not instead of them.

What the firm does

The firm introduces a client where SR&ED or a funding program may apply. The client decides whether to engage us, and the firm stays involved in the tax filing.

What Grant & Funding does

  • Runs a first-read screen of the programs that may fit the client.
  • Agrees a fixed-fee scope in writing before work starts.
  • Names the adviser responsible for the file.
  • Prepares the technical narrative and supporting schedules, and coordinates filing through the firm.

Referral compensation

Where a firm receives referral compensation, it is disclosed to the client in writing, before any fee is paid, and does not change the fee the client pays. Firms cannot receive referral fees for clients to whom they provide audit or review engagements.
